MISSION / MISIÓN
Our mission is to mitigate the negative health impacts of air pollutants through neighborhood-scale monitoring. We are working to provide residents of Detroit with tools and technology to track and understand the harmful impact of air pollution by creating a mobile network of low-cost air sensors. Our team is an interdisciplinary group of students at Wayne State University, hosted by the Society for Environmental Engineering and Sustainability (SEES).
Nuestra misión es mitigar los impactos negativos en la salud sobre los contaminantes del aire a través del monitoreo a escala de vecindario. Estamos trabajando para proporcionar a los residentes de Detroit las herramientas y tecnología para rastrear y comprender el impacto dañino de la contaminación del aire mediante la creación de una red móvil de sensores de bajo costo. Sensor Network Management
Once the sensors are set up, we help deal with the incoming data through storage and analysis. As well as providing maintenance and expertise to keep sensors running.

Air Quality Data
AirNet provides a unique look into the quality of the air we breathe. We monitor total volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air and analyze the data through spacial modeling.
